We are nearing our Goal of 150,000 Names Indexed!

Our ward has indexed 34,420 names of the 1940 Census in July. That brings our total to 141,651. That leaves us 8349 names to do in the next 10 days to achieve our goal of 150,000 names. There isn’t too much time left to index the 1940 Census as it is 93.16% indexed. We have 53 Parkcrest Members indexing. It is not too late to start! There will always be records to index but indexing the 1940 Census has been a special project. This project is going to be completed 2 months ahead of the schedule that the church projected when we all began indexing.
Thanks to all who have spent many hours indexing records.  What a great accomplishment. 

Over 10 Million Names in 24 hours!

 

Here is the report on our 5 million records challenge for July 2^nd.  Thanks to all of those who participated.  Our Parkcrest Ward Indexers have a total of 13,973 names for July so far!
