arbitrating the 1940 U.S. Census! And we did it in just 124 days. Fantastic!
Thank you to every volunteer who contributed and did their very best to produce
a high-quality index of the census for current and future generations to freely
search.
It will take a few weeks to finish
publishing the indexes for the remaining states. You can continue to watch the FamilySearch 1940 U.S. Census website to know
when more states are made searchable name-by-name.

We're still working to make billions
