The Citrus Heights Stake has been invited by the Family History Department of the Church to participate in a special indexing project.  We will be indexing Italian Birth records after 1875.  You do not need to read Italian to participate.   Each record will be indexed twice by indexers.  The arbitrators will all be fluent in Italian.

The Italian government has released 100 million civil records to the church for indexing purposes.  That equates to 500 million names to be indexed.  There will be a general training meeting on August 29^th at 7pm at the Stake Center for all who want help with these records.
